Drawing is visual thinking and is the main focus of my art . Using the design element of line to record, remember, and imagine. I draw. I prefer to draw with fountain pens, using watercolour and ink areas from time to time. Sometimes I will use pencil crayons and crayons. My drawings are usually no larger than 18x24 inches and no smaller than 5x7 inches. Works on paper gives me immediate and direct opportunity to work through and explore the things that capture my curiosity. Paintings require more preparation because the materials are more raw. Stretchers, canvas, and paints, have to be build, primed and mixed on a larger scale. This requires more time and space, works on paper give me the opportunity to work constantly without interruption to my flow.
